2016 World Cycling: Etixx – Quick Step and Boels Doelmans win the team time trials
World cycling Doha 2016 has been released with the test team time trial. The victory in the men corresponded to Etixx – Quick Step, training and won the first two editions of this format. Bob Jungels, Marcel Kittel, Niki Terpstra, Yves Lampaert, Julien Vermote and Tonu Martin are the cyclists who have hung gold.
Second is over the team BMC Racing Team, the American squad that had taken the victory in the World Championships in 2014 and 2015. With Rohan Dennis, Stefan Küng, Daniel Oss, Taylor Phinney, Manuel Quinziato and Joseph Rosskopf, fell to 17 seconds of time marked in goal for the winning team, which was 42 minutes and 32 seconds.
The third place and the bronze medal was for the Orica BikeExchange, which returns to the podium after his absence in the previous year. The sextet presented Australians were: Luke Durbridge, Alexander Edmondson, Michael Hepburn, Daryl Impey and Svein Tuft.
In the female category, the first gold for the Dutch team Boels Doelmans that either runner – up last year. The six riders who have represented the team and have achieved this success were Evelyn Stevens, Elizabeth Deignan, Chantal Blaak, Ellen Van Dijk, Karol-Ann Canuel and Christine Majerus.
The Boel Doelmans completed the course in a time of 48 minutes and 42 seconds, 48 seconds faster than the second placed Canyon SRAM Germany. Champions last year, this year played them settle for second making Lisa Brennauer, Mieke Kroeger, Txrixi Worrack, Alena Amialiusik, Elena Cecchini and Hannah Barnes.
The podium in the women’s category was completed by another German team, Cervelo – Bigla , which is the first time we see on the podium.
