Buddy Up for Exercise
If you have a canine friend at home, you have the perfect exercise partner. Dogs need exercise just as people do. Each has a need for strong muscles, a strong skeleton and well-developed cardiovascular system. Take advantage of the awesome deals offered by Groupon coupons and invest in a long leash or belt leash for your favorite canine. Get off the couch and plan to begin a fun waking regime together. You’ll add year to both your life and your dog’s life.
Make a commitment to walking at least thirty minutes five to six days per week. Don’t be concerned with speed or distance. The initial goal is to simply develop a habit of exercise. On days with inclement weather, pick your favorite big box store and walk laps around the interior perimeter. (Leave your dog at home!) The employees will take notice of what you’re doing, but rest assured, they’ll be the first to cheer you on.
After you have been walking for several weeks, begin to add interval spurts. This is when you substantially increase your pace. Walk at a swift pace for five minutes and then ramp it up for three minutes. Interval clip on timers are available and serve as a great tool and motivator. Begin to increase your distances and include hills. You’ll soon begin to feel a strengthening of your muscles and in increased cardiovascular capacity. Again, the goal is to develop a habit. Jazz up your walks by driving to different neighborhoods and taking in the new scenery. If you have parks nearby, you and your dog would surely enjoy that.
Finally, don’t sabotage your terrific new routine by making unhealthy food choices,. Think quality and quantity. The greatest thing you can do to ramp up the quality of your food choices is to eliminate fast food meals and sugary sodas from your diet. Excess sodium and sugar causes bloating, fatigue, high blood pressure and increased weight. Make mindful, healthy choices. Best of luck to you on your new journey to a healthy lifestyle!http://www.sportseducationexpo.com/buddy-up-for-exercise.htmlExercises
