Corsica Rally 2016: dates, registry, schedules and detailed tour
The WRC and only four races remaining to finish the season: France, Spain, Wales and Australia. The first is the Rally of Corsica in which will be Dani Sordo and Sebastien Ogier has options to certify their fourth consecutive world title with Volkswagen.
The 58th edition of the Rally of Corsica will take place between 29 September and 2 October. The itinerary differs from usual because in Corsica bet on very few sections but quite long, namely, just 10 sections totaling 390.92 kilometers against the clock because several of them are over 50 kilometers away.
Ajaccio will be starring in the beginning of the test that will end the Power Stage de Porto-Vecchio. The characteristics of the sections are the usual island, ie, narrow and twisty roads between mountain areas and, in many cases, with spectacular sea views.

Dani Sordo and Jose Antonio ‘Rocket’ Suarez in the entry list
The list consists of 77 crews registered of which 12 are of category WRC . The Volkswagen are again favorites to win the trio of Sébastien Ogier, Jari-Matti Latvala won last year and Andreas Mikkelsen . Ogier has 169 points, Mikkelsen 110 and Paddon and Neuville 94 so if the French win and rivals can fail his fourth title is more likely to arrive in Spain.
Hyundai will try to do battle with Volkswagen with its two asphalt specialists in the first team: Dani Sordo and Thierry Neuville. Hayden Paddon will drive the third Hyundai i20 WRC. Hyundai in Germany encouraged the rally and climbed the podium, which will also look Kris Meeke who will compete in Corsica with Craig Breen, both driving the Citroen DS3 WRC Abu Dhabi WRT.
Mads Ostberg and Eric Camilli will drive the Ford M-Sport. Ford will also Ott Tänak and Lorenzo Bertelli who complete the entry list WRC category.
